Job Summary
Anticipate needs and personalize interactions during weddings, corporate events, and private parties to ensure seamless execution. Assist the Director of Banquets with planning and executing events from setup through breakdown, while supervising staff and modeling polished service. Conduct pre-event meetings to align teams on timelines, menus, and special requests, then monitor food and beverage quality and adjust staffing levels as needed. Coordinate with kitchen, vendors, and other departments to maintain a clean, safe environment and resolve guest concerns proactively. Attend weekly operational meetings to support planning excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, hotel, or event operations
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as required by events
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move equipment for extended periods
