Job Summary
Assistant Banking Center Manager responsible for supporting the Banking Center Manager in driving sales and operations, coaching bankers and tellers, identifying cross-sell opportunities, opening new accounts, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring adherence to policies and quality standards. The role includes training and mentoring staff, promoting banking products (including consumer loans, deposits, HSA/IRA), participating in outbound calls and community activities, processing transactions, and occasional travel for training and meetings. Requires NMLS registration, strong leadership and customer-service skills, and the ability to meet personal and team goals. Location-based duties primarily at the Herscher, IL office with potential travel within the market.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Proven sales experience
- NMLS registration under S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
- standing for extended periods
- ability to lift 25-50 lbs
- multilingual encouraged (desirable)
