Job Summary
Assist with coordinating marching band activities including band camp, rehearsals, and pre-season activities; conduct rehearsals in the director’s absence; assist with Christmas and Spring Concerts; adhere to school board policies, Professional Code of Ethics, and attendance expectations; manage materials, equipment, and inventory; assist with fundraising; collaborate with the band director on music selection, pep-band, and halftime show duties; share responsibility for all music, uniforms, instruments, and related materials; perform other duties as assigned; demonstrate positive interpersonal relationships with students, staff, administrators, and the community.
Required Qualifications
- Kentucky certificate, license, or other legal credentials required
- Experience and other qualifications as specified by the Superintendent
- Ability to work effectively with students
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
