Job Summary
Prioritize guest engagement and foster a positive work environment while partnering with the Bakery Manager to lead cake production, inventory control, and brand presentation. Support recruitment, training, and performance coaching for team members, ensuring all operations adhere to food safety standards and NbC policies. Assist in executing administrative duties including cake production planning, team scheduling, supply ordering, sales reporting, and payroll processing. Co-manage special-order fulfillment via web and email for individual guests and corporate accounts, and co-facilitate bakery openings and closings with cash-drawer balancing. Contribute to local marketing strategy by coordinating brand-building events and maintain hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles as business needs dictate. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 42 hours per week during non-holiday weeks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment
- Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Work on Saturdays is required when necessary
