Job Summary
Partner with the Bakery Manager to achieve sales and profit goals through production, merchandising, staff development, and customer service. Supervise, schedule, and assign duties to Team Members in the Manager's absence while managing inventory and pricing to meet margin and labor targets. Provide exceptional customer service, assist in interviewing and training processes, and maintain a positive work environment with high morale. Operate and sanitize all equipment safely while adhering to health, sanitation, and weights and measures procedures. This full-time role requires 1-2 years of bakery management experience, analytical skills for profitability monitoring, and availability for a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in bakery management
- At least 1-2 years
- Analytical ability and proficiency in math to calculate margins, monitor profitability and manage inventory
- Passion and appreciation for Scratch Baking
- Comprehensive Bakery product knowledge
- Clear and effective communicator
- Strong ability to work with others in a team setting
- Enjoys mentoring others
- Strong organizational skills
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Local candidates only
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs
- Standing: Up to 8 hours per day
- Walking: Up to 8 hours per day
- Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day
