Job Summary
As Assistant Bakery Manager at Brookshire Grocery Company in Broken Arrow, OK, you will help lead bakery operations, train and develop partners, manage inventory and scheduling, support sales and profitability, ensure quality and food-safety standards, decorate and merchandise baked goods, and provide courteous customer service. You’ll work closely with upper management to review sales data, coordinate production and ordering, monitor product quality, and assist with packaging, labeling, catering, and occasional delivery of baked goods while promoting themes and displays to drive department performance. Strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail bakery environment, and adherence to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
- Food Handler certification required.
- Manager Food Safety certification required.
- Minimum of 18 years of age required.
- Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with policy.
