Assistant Bakery Manager

Coordinate daily bakery production, packaging, and merchandising to achieve sales, profitability, and food safety objectives. Supervise bakery associates, manage inventory control, and ensure products are prepared and displayed according to company standards. Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiration dates while supporting seasonal promotions and special merchandising programs. Assist with training, coaching, and developing team members, and assume leadership responsibilities in the Bakery Manager's absence. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and supporting custom cake orders. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations while maintaining department cleanliness. Contribute to meeting departmental labor, shrink, and productivity goals.
