Job Summary
Assist the operator in threading materials through guides, rollers, and cutting devices to form finished bags. Start machines, adjust settings for uniform shearing, printing, and folding, and maintain high production speeds with minimal waste. Perform daily maintenance including oiling, cleaning, and re-taping equipment while diagnosing and correcting immediate machine issues. Mount rolls using hoists and secure shafts with steel collars. Reference work orders to requisition paper from the warehouse and communicate with teammates during shift changes. Adhere strictly to GMP and SQF regulations. Work 12-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday or on a rotating schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to assist the operator in each essential job function satisfactorily
- Ability to multi-task as well as work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
