Job Summary
Provide legal services for the City of Atlanta's Department of Transportation and Department of Public Works; draft and analyze ordinances, resolutions, and amendments; draft legislative updates regarding state laws and opinions; monitor pending legislation; prepare legal opinions on questions of law and procedure; review, analyze, revise and approve contracts and other legal instruments; serve as a liaison between the Departments and the City Attorney and advise the City Council on legislation concerning departmental initiatives.
