Job Summary
Serve as the primary media relations contact for Army West Point Football and 1-2 other selected sports, providing game day support for football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, and lacrosse. Write, edit, and coordinate publication design for media guides, game programs, and notes while finding compelling cadet-athlete stories to pitch to local, regional, and national outlets. Lead a team of six full-time employees and interns, generating publicity for all 30 AWPAA sports and overseeing weekly press releases, team statistics, and league reporting. Manage the Athletic Communications budget and assist with website and social media maintenance. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
