Job Summary
Assist in maintaining the School’s Sports Medicine program by delivering athletic training services, evaluating injured student-athletes, and guiding rehabilitation. Responsibilities include providing coverage for scheduled practices and competitions, coordinating with the team physician on pre-participation examinations and medical referrals, managing the Athletic Training Room and inventory, supporting the Athletic Director and Head Athletic Trainer on safety and medical concerns, evaluating and recommending new techniques, equipment, and policies to enhance the program, and maintaining up-to-date records and documentation. Ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree from a CAATE-accredited program, BOC certification, and NY State licensure; 2-5 years of experience preferred though new graduates are encouraged to apply. This is a travel athletic trainer position with relocation support if hired; Go4 offers competitive hourly rates ($46-$60 nationally) and additional benefits including relocation stipends, license renewal reimbursement, CEU subscriptions, student loan assistance, and degree partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC)
- New York State Athletic Trainer Licensure
- CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program
- minimum 2-5 years experience preferred (new grads welcome)
