Job Summary
Conduct injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for varsity student-athletes, including emergency care, referrals, and return-to-play programming. Cover assigned practices, home contests, and travel with teams, coordinating emergency transportation and on-site medical response. Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and manage inventory and supply management. Serve as a preceptor to master's-level athletic training students and ensure continuity of program policies when the Head Athletic Trainer is absent. Perform additional duties as assigned by athletic leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Athletic Training
- 1 year experience
- DL - Driver's License
- PA - State of Pennsylvania and AT - Athletic Trainer - Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer
- ATL - Athletic Trainer License - State of Pennsylvania
- Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED - American Heart Association
- FA - First Aid Certificate - American Heart Association
- Lift and carry 40-50 lbs
- Frequent to continuous standing/walking
- Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift
- Activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR
