Job Summary
Assist the Athletic Director with daily operations, including scheduling contests, practices, and facility usage while enforcing district and NCHSAA rules. Coordinate game-day logistics for home and away events, managing ticketing, security, and crowd control to ensure safety and compliance. Monitor student-athlete eligibility, promote academic excellence, and serve as a community ambassador through social media and fundraising initiatives. This role requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability, with a stipend for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of interscholastic athletic programs, rules, regulations, and eligibility requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, events, and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to make sound decisions and effectively solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in the use of technology, data management systems, and communication platforms
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, parents, officials, and community stakeholders
- Basic budgeting, accounting, and financial record-keeping skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the athletic schedule
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during athletic events
- Ability to lift and carry athletic equipment and supplies up to 25 pounds
- Ability to travel to athletic contests and related activities
