Job Summary
Oversee Arlington High School Athletics: manage and coordinate all aspects of the athletics program, including scheduling, officials, transportation, game setup, and coordination with the Athletic Director. Maintain athletics communications and media relations (web updates, game recaps, score reporting, social media and PR). Ensure compliance with MIAA/NFHS ethics and policies; assist with registration, waivers, MIAA procedures, and Arbiter. The role involves engagement with youth/school-aged athletes and collaboration with league leaders to promote participation and ensure smooth operations across athletic events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferred)
- Experience with high school aged student-athletes; coaching
- Experience in sports management or athletic administration
- Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA)
