Assistant / Associate Professor - Pediatric Nephrologist

Job Summary
Provide clinical care in outpatient, inpatient, and dialysis settings while sharing inpatient coverage with division colleagues. Teach residents, medical students, and support staff through lectures, rounds, and clinical courses, offering constructive feedback to demonstrate teaching competence. Engage in scholarly research to improve clinical practice and disease detection within pediatric medicine. Perform administrative and advocacy duties as assigned within the division or academic department. Join a team of four pediatric nephrologists and one nurse practitioner at Oregon's only academic health center.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed MD and eligible for license in the states of Oregon and Washington
- Board certification or eligibility for specialty board certification in Pediatrics/Pediatric Nephrology
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency and a Pediatric Nephrology fellowship
- Demonstrated competence in research, clinical care and teaching
- The ability to give constructive feedback and demonstrate competence in teaching
