Assistant/Associate Professor of Veterinary Technology

Job Summary
Conduct undergraduate instruction in radiology, laboratory, and biomedical procedures for Veterinary Technology students. Design, prepare, and supervise hands-on laboratory activities while utilizing instructional technologies to deliver course materials and evaluate student performance. Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support for the Veterinary Technology club and Research Farm operations. Deliver in-house veterinary care for research and extension animals as needed. Engage in scholarly activities including peer-reviewed publications, professional presentations, and the pursuit of extramural funding through competitive grants. Participate in clinical engagement and community service activities as assigned by the department chair.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Veterinary licensure in the State of Georgia issued by the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners or eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in animal practice, preferably including large animal practice
Desired Qualifications

- Successful experience in mixed animal Veterinary Practice Operations
- Documented evidence of successful teaching at college level
- Documented evidence of teaching hybrid and fully online courses
- Demonstrated record of successful college level pedagogical research or creative activity
