Job Summary
Join the neurology department at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, as an Assistant/Associate/Professor, serving as a neurologist with roles in clinical activities and teaching responsibilities. Candidates will participate in attending duties in neurology clinics and inpatient services, mentor graduate students and trainees, and teach medical student courses. Responsibilities also include developing a research program that integrates with clinical activities. The position requires an MD/DO or equivalent, completion of an ACGME accredited residency, and board eligibility in neurology.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent degree
- Must have completed residency from an ACGME accredited program prior to starting employment
- Board eligible/certified in Neurology
- Must obtain board certification within two years of employment
- Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license
- Malpractice insurance required
- Must be able to be successfully credentialed by UNLV Medicine affiliated hospitals and/or clinics
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training preferred
