Job Summary
Tenure-track engineering faculty role at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids. Responsible for teaching upper-level engineering courses (machine design 1 and 2, heat transfer, vibrations, fluids, dynamics), supervising senior research projects, and managing the engineering lab. Contributes to scholarship, service to the university and community, and spiritual modeling/mentoring consistent with a Christ-centered mission. The position expects active engagement in teaching effectiveness, student learning, course/program assessment, and departmental duties, with opportunities for professional engagement in the faculty member's specialization, student recruitment, and mentorship of students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in Engineering are encouraged to apply
- Tenure-track faculty status
- Ability to teach upper-level engineering courses (e.g., machine design, heat transfer, vibrations, fluids, dynamics)
- Supervision of senior research projects
