Job Summary
The Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling position involves teaching 6 courses annually in the Master's and/or Doctoral Program in Counseling, providing academic advising to both Master's and Doctoral students, serving on dissertation committees, and maintaining active involvement in research and community relations. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. from a CACREP-accredited program and have relevant teaching experience, with preferences for those with a Florida license or applicable certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree from a CACREP-accredited program
- Teaching experience in a counseling program
Desired Qualifications
- Florida license (LMHC or LMFT) or eligibility for licensure
- Certification in school counseling
- Clinical experience in school counseling, clinical mental health counseling, and/or marriage and family counseling
