Job Summary
Teach introductory undergraduate computer engineering courses and laboratories, with a primary focus on quality instruction and student recruitment. Advise and mentor undergraduate students while contributing to course and program assessment and development. Engage in university and community service activities. Experience with aviation or aerospace applications is highly desirable. The role supports the College of Engineering's accredited programs, which place students in aerospace companies and graduate schools.
Required Qualifications
- Interest and ability to teach introductory undergraduate computer engineering courses and laboratories
- Experience with aviation/aerospace applications
- Quality teaching and laboratory instruction
- Recruitment of students
- Advising and mentoring undergraduate students
- Course and program assessment and development
- University/community service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Written and oral communications skills
- Strong command of the English language
- Earned doctorate in computer engineering or a related field
- MS degree in computer engineering or a related field with extensive industry experience
- Significant industry, entrepreneurial, and/or teaching experience
