Job Summary
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas seeks candidates for Assistant/Associate Professor in the Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics (GSO) department. Ideal applicants will have strong clinical skills in Laborist and General OBGYN roles, with responsibilities including outpatient care and Labor and Delivery. Candidates should demonstrate aptitude in medical student and resident education, clinical research, and have advanced laparoscopic/robotic abilities. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required prior to employment; board eligible candidates must become certified within two years. This is a non-tenure track faculty role.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME accredited residency program
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for a Nevada medical license
- Malpractice coverage requirements
- Maintain a State Board of Pharmacy license
- DEA license
- Ability to obtain admitting privileges at applicable hospitals and/or clinics
Additional Requirements
- Finalists must possess and maintain a State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA license
- Criminal background check may be conducted on candidates selected for hire
