Job Summary

The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is seeking full-time faculty for positions in Hematology and Medical Oncology, with responsibilities including patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supervision and teaching of Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students. Candidates may also be considered for the Program Director role of the upcoming Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship program. Successful candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree, have completed relevant training, and be board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Required Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Completed an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency training
  • Completed an ACGME accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship training
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology prior to the start date
  • Possess and maintain a Nevada State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA License
  • Nevada medical license must be obtained prior to the start date
  • Malpractice coverage meeting credentialing requirements
  • Ability to obtain privileges as University Medical Center (UMC) and other site locations as needed
