Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (Tenured or Tenure Track)

The University of Wisconsin–Madison Department of Biochemistry invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level (tenured or tenure-track). We seek candidates in all areas of biochemistry with emphasis on systems and synthetic biology to advance quantitative, predictive understanding of biological systems using experimental, computational, and engineering approaches. The successful candidate will establish an ambitious externally funded research program, contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring, participate in department and university governance, and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations across biological, engineering, and data science disciplines. The department highlights facilities in high-throughput genomics, advanced imaging, structural biology, mass spectrometry, and computational resources, and values a collaborative, inclusive environment supporting innovation across multiple scales of biological organization.
