Job Summary
Conduct teaching, scholarship, and service within the School of Nursing and Health Professions. Deliver instruction in nursing education and/or advanced practice nursing while advancing research and community engagement. Maintain an unencumbered license as a registered nurse and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, holding a doctoral degree in an appropriate content area. Begin duties in Spring 2027 with a tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank determined upon review of qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program associated with a regionally accredited institution of higher education
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP) appropriate to content area or near degree completion (final semester)
- If advanced practice nurse practitioner applicant, must be eligible for national certification in advanced practice and/or recertification eligible with ANCC or AANP
- Unencumbered license as a registered nurse and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- Five or more years of clinical nursing experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term
