The University of California, San Diego seeks clinical gastroenterologists with a focus on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) for positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The role may emphasize clinical care of IBD patients and/or clinical research in outcomes/health services, or translational clinically applied informatics, with responsibilities in teaching, research, and service to foster a scholarly environment. The appointment level will be determined by background and experience. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, be Board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology, hold or be eligible for a California medical license, and have completed or be pursuing advanced fellowship training in IBD and/or Gastroenterology.
