Job Summary
Conduct surgical pathology diagnostic clinical practice with a focus on gastrointestinal pathology, including participation in frozen section diagnosis, after-hours call, and the autopsy service. Contribute to the academic mission through collaborative research and undergraduate or residency teaching programs. Deliver excellence in diagnostic practice within Unity Health Toronto's network, which emphasizes inner city health and world-class care in interventional endoscopy, surgery, and oncology.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible for an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor at the University of Toronto
- Eligible for medical licensure in the province of Ontario
- Postgraduate qualifications in Anatomic, Clinical or General Pathology
- Eligible for an academic appointment in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology
