Assistant/Associate Dean for Osteopathic Integration

Job Summary
Dean-level role focused on integrating Osteopathic Principles and Practices (OPP) and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) into the KansasCOM curriculum. Responsibilities include teaching, curriculum integration across four-year programs with onsite, distance-learning, and adjunct faculty; monitoring student progress; delivering OMM/OPP presentations to residents, physicians, and the public; faculty recruitment, evaluation, and development; accreditation support and budget oversight; involvement in community relations; and promoting OMM/OPP through research. Requires Board Eligible/Certified DO or MD with OMM expertise, curricular/teaching experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and familiarity with COCA accreditation and medical education assessment.
Required Qualifications
- Board Eligible/Certified DO or MD with appropriate training and skills
- Clinical experience practicing OMT within their specialty
- Graduate of an accredited College of Osteopathic Medicine or LCME curricular/teaching experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and distance-learning technologies
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
