Assistant Aquatics Leader

Job Summary
Oversee all Aquatics programs including Family Swim, Swim Lessons, Swim Team, and Masters Swim by assisting the Manager in operations and financial management. Manage all team members, cast and train staff, and ensure a safe, friendly experience for members and guests. Respond to member inquiries professionally while maintaining department safety standards. Requires StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification, BLS CPR, and First Aid. Some college education and one year of supervisory experience are minimum requirements. Life Time operates over 160 athletic country clubs dedicated to inclusive, diverse, and equitable well-being for individuals of all ages.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to tread water for 1 minute
- Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
- Some College experience
- 1 Year of Customer Service Experience
- 1 Year of supervisory/management experience
- 1 Year of swim instruction/coaching experience
- 2 Years of lifeguard experience
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification
- BLS CPR certification
- First Aid certification
Desired Qualifications
- National Swimming Pool Foundation Certified Pool Operator
- Pool and Hot Tub Association (PHTA) Certified Pool Operator
