Job Summary
Coordinate daily airport operations, airfield inspections, and maintenance activities while assisting with capital improvement projects, grant administration, and construction oversight. Supervise personnel by assigning work, developing schedules, reviewing performances, and providing training. Administer leases, manage tenant relations, and prepare agendas, reports, and presentations for airport authority meetings. Respond to emergencies, customer service requests, and public inquiries while supporting the Airport Manager in coordinating with FAA, GDOT, and aviation stakeholders. Obtain AAAE Certified Member status and Fuel Quality Control training within 24 months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in airport management, aviation management, public administration, or related field
- considerable experience in airport operations, aviation customer service, public administration, or related field
- Must be able to obtain AAAE Certified Member status and Fuel Quality Control training within 24 months of hire
- Favorable background history as determined by review of local, State and Federal records
- Valid driver's license in the State of Georgia with a favorable driving history (MVR)
