Job Summary

Assistant Administrator/Residential Clinician at the North Coast Crisis Respite Center provides clinical and administrative leadership including mental health assessments, treatment planning, crisis respite services, case management, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments for new and current residents, developing client-centered treatment plans, maintaining and updating assessments and treatment plans per program standards and OARs, coordinating admissions/discharges and referrals, delivering individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices, and ensuring documentation compliance. The role collaborates with QMHAs to develop residential treatment plans, facilitates group curriculum, and maintains connections with community resources and partners. Administrative duties include gathering referral information, coordinating Comagine assessments, ensuring proper admission paperwork, and coordinating discharge planning. Secondary duties involve administrative support during absences, mandatory abuse reporting, and participating in team meetings. Requires a Master’s or equivalent clinical degree, QMHP certification within 30 days, licensure requirements (RN with BSN option), driver’s license, knowledge of Medicaid and OARs, strong communication skills, confidentiality, and ability to pass background checks. Salary is DOE with a comprehensive benefits package; full-time, with a 4-day workweek recently adopted and a hire bonus offer.”,

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with an RN for QMHP certification
  • QMHP certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
  • Oregon or Washington Driver's license and meet insurance standards at time of hire
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and related health care regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • HIPAA confidentiality
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Oregon/Washington Driver’s license and insurance requirements
  • Preferred: LPC/LMFT/LCSW
  • Bilingual (preferred)
