Job Summary
Manage daily operations at The Learning Experience Tomball by answering inquiries, maintaining clean work areas, and preparing weekly reports including sign-in sheets and cleaning checklists. Maintain child files, drive financial performance, and lead team meetings to set direction in partnership with the Center Director. Execute marketing campaigns, oversee the Work and Family program, and nurture leads through tours and follow-ups to secure enrollment. Assist with opening and closing duties, fill in classrooms during teacher absences, and coordinate the registration process while maintaining customer databases. Drive the center's operational success by ensuring all state licensing rules are followed and fostering a positive environment for families and staff.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of center leadership/management experience
- 3+ years' experience in retail/store management
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales setting
- Ability to leverage data to understand the business and make decisions
- Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children
- Must meet state specific guidelines
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong effective interpersonal skills
- Fluent speaking in both English and Spanish
- Knowledge of both Texas Rising Star and food program
- Knowledge of Child Care CRM
- Must be able to drive school bus
Desired Qualifications
- 2 or more years of center leadership/management experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field highly preferred
- CPR and First Aide Certification highly preferred
