Job Summary
Assistant Accountant - Projects will support the Senior Financial Accountant and Manager of Accounting Operations to maintain a full trial balance, with a focus on balance sheet reconciliations and month end reporting. Key responsibilities include preparing and posting manual journals, processing depreciation and amortisation entries in Dynamics 365, preparing prepayment and accrual schedules, assisting with project asset capitalisation, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, aiding project setup and administration changes in Dynamics 365, responding to ad hoc project queries, and liaising with the Projects Front Office on impairment reviews. The role works within a collaborative team to support project accounting activities across a high-volume environment, partnering with Project Managers and Finance stakeholders. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, working autonomously and as part of a team, and contributing to a transactional finance function focused on automation, continuous improvement and adding value to the business. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Ideally Qualified/ part qualified member of an appropriate professional accounting body e.g. CA/CPA or international equivalent
