Assistant Accountant

Job Summary
Own core accounting processes across rebates, pricing, debtors, and month-end reporting, maintain Global Price Management (GPM) tool as the single source of truth and present insights in monthly sales meetings; perform balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and integrity checks on NZ debtors; support CAPEX reporting and Fixed Asset Register aligned with project timelines; assist Financial Accountant and Inventory Controller with inventory reports, cycle counts, and inter-location stock movements; support month-end close, journal entries, and preparation of monthly and annual (audited) accounts; continuously improve financial controls, process documentation, and internal training; rotate across accounting tasks to build broad capability within the team; role is based in NZ with hybrid flexibility at Fisher & Paykel.
Required Qualifications
- up to a year of post-grad experience
- pursuing CA or becoming CA
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
