Job Summary
Assistant Account Manager supports the Employee Benefits team as a key client and internal contact from onboarding through renewal, managing benefit enrollments, policy changes, renewals, and account documentation; supports open enrollment meetings and client presentations; reviews policies for accuracy and maintains agency management systems; processes claims and maintains detailed client and carrier communications; identifies opportunities to enhance client value through additional services.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Life & Health License required
- Experience in employee benefits insurance and policy administration
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency systems; comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency
- Experience supporting renewals and open enrollment processes
- Professional, client-facing communication skills
- Strong understanding of compliance and documentation standards
- Commitment to staying current on industry and regulatory updates
