Job Summary
Assistant Account Manager for Small Business Commercial Lines. Entry-level role supporting renewal processing, binder handling, endorsements, audits, invoicing, claims follow-up, and issuance of Certificates and Evidence of Insurance. Responsibilities include creating/maintaining mail-merge documents, drafting proposals, processing un-routed attachments, and responding to client requests. Opportunity to pursue a P&C license and continuing education. Requires High School diploma/GED, strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, organization, and collaboration; prior insurance experience not required but a plus. Travel may be required. Compensation: $50k-$60k base, eligible for discretionary annual incentive; comprehensive benefits. Hybrid work arrangement available in Portland, OR; Phoenix, AZ; Reno, NV; Walnut Creek, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Education – High School graduate/GED required
- Experience working in an office environment preferred
- Insurance experience is not required, but a plus
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be organized and able to manage time effectively
- Pursue and obtain P&C license
- Proficiency with EPIC (agency management system)
