Job Summary
Manage the successful operation of the Resident Care Department by providing direct oversight, coaching, and supervision of all resident care service providers. Deliver on-floor nursing support to residents and interact with family members while assuring compliance with regulations such as medication management. Conduct external and internal assessments and maintain accurate record-keeping. Maintain personal and resident safety methods and procedures. Work as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of one year in assisted living, home care, or hospice, available for on-call rotations as identified by the community.
Required Qualifications
- Being a Registered Nurse, per state regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year Assisted Living/Home Care or Hospice experience as a RN
- 2 years' experience in a care setting as a RN
- Certified in Gerontology through the American Nurses Credentialing Association
- Knowledge of Dementia care
- Ability to lift 50 pounds individually
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to be on call as identified by the community
