Job Summary
Conduct recertification interviews with residents, log rental applications, and track inquiries from referrals and walk-ins. Show vacant units, market property amenities, and execute leasing marketing campaigns including tours and promotion. Maintain knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivables procedures, assist with collections, and prepare lease agreements. Coordinate property messaging, initiate and close work orders, and file court documents for eviction proceedings. Remain current with residential rental laws and company processes while ordering office supplies as needed. Evening and weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years' experience with residential real estate management
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Professional appearance
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to meet residents in their units
- Ability to show units to potential residents
- Ability to walk around to inspect the property
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to work around cleaning solvents
- Ability to work around paint fumes
- Ability to work around landscaping chemicals
- Availability for evening work
- Availability for weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- Tax Credit experience
- Section 8 experience
- Public Housing experience
- Two or more years of college
- Completion of all company required certification training and testing
