Job Summary
Assets Protection Team Leader at Target responsible for leading the AP team, executing security and loss-prevention strategies, responding to incidents, and partnering with store leadership. Duties include managing workload priorities, conducting investigations and apprehensions per policy, developing talent and schedules, analyzing theft trends, implementing security plans for events, and fostering a safe, guest-focused store culture. Requires leadership, communication, adaptability to a variable schedule, and adherence to safety and ethics standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Climb ladders; handle and move merchandise safely up to 40 pounds
- Interpret instructions and apply security procedures
- Strong customer service orientation and guest interaction skills
