Job Summary

Assets Protection Specialist at Target responsible for protecting guests, team members, and the brand through surveillance, loss prevention, and incident documentation. Key duties include using video surveillance to identify theft risks, implementing AP practices to reduce shortage, documenting cases, identifying theft trends, apprehending subjects per policy, maintaining safety culture, ensuring product availability, and providing excellent guest interactions while adhering to safety and AP policies. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet any licensure/legal requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
  • Effective communication skills
  • Work both independently and with a team
  • Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties
  • Capable of lifting/moving up to 40 pounds
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
