Job Summary
Associate-level Asset & Wealth Management software engineer role focused on building and operationalizing agentic AI solutions for production environments. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tool-calling agents with retrieval, reasoning, and secure action execution; productionizing LLMs with evaluation frameworks, retrieval pipelines, and self-correction loops; integrating agents with observability, incident management, and deployment systems for automated diagnostics and runbook execution; collaborating with production engineers to translate pain points into AI roadmaps and measurable outcomes; implementing safety, reliability, and governance features such as validator models, adversarial prompts, deterministic fallbacks, and rollback strategies; optimizing cost and latency through prompt engineering, context management, batching, and model routing; building RAG pipelines, data-quality validation, and knowledge management; mentoring peers on agent architectures and safe deployment patterns; and leveraging cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infra-as-code as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline
- 5+ years of experience as an applied data scientist / machine learning engineer
- 3-5 years of software development experience in Python, C/C++, Go, or Java
- 3 years designing, architecting, testing, and launching production ML systems (model deployment/serving, evaluation, monitoring)
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs): API integration, prompt engineering, finetuning/adaptation, and RAG/tool-using agents
