Job Summary
Software engineering responsibilities include designing and developing software by combining open source software, databases, cloud solutions, and programming languages to build scalable applications. Engineers collaborate with trading, sales, asset management, banking, and finance teams, and work with UI/UX designers, data scientists, cloud engineers, and other partners in an agile environment to deliver initiatives that advance the firm’s capabilities. The role emphasizes applying data-driven analysis, performance-oriented design, and experience with NoSQL databases and modern frontend technologies (React/Angular/Redux). This Associate-level position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1+ years of software development experience, with strong communication and multi-stakeholder collaboration in a global team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and apply analysis to make data driven decisions
- Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a global team
- Can apply an entrepreneurial approach and passion to problem solving and product development
- 1+ years of software development experience
- Expert Knowledge in One Or More Of Programming languages (Java, C++, Python) and frontend/backend tools (React/Angular/Redux)
- NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch
