Job Summary
Asset & Wealth Management Operations - AM Alts Pvt Post Close Ops Associate in Bengaluru. The role sits within Goldman Sachs' Operations for the Asset & Wealth Management division and involves supporting various private-side business lines, including position creation, journal entries, invoice and tax payments, custody and cash confirmations, financing facility interest calculations, exception management and risk mitigation across multiple desks’ investing strategies. The candidate should have 4+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex processes and tight deadlines. Responsibilities emphasize collaboration with controllers, fund management, technologists, and other operations teams, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements across private markets and alternative investment funds. The team covers assets such as Corporate Credit, Corporate Equity, Growth Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate Equity, and Real Estate Credit, and requires front-to-back transaction processing and SME-level understanding of fund products.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in the field of finance, accounting, and/or business management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with professionals across various levels both internally and externally
- Aptitude for dealing with complex issues and communicating with various stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines, with activities and targets which may change at short notice
- A high level of accuracy with the ability to maintain this standard while under pressure from deadlines
