Job Summary
Manage US pension and insurance portfolios daily, executing trades across equities, fixed income, currencies, and alternatives while adhering to client guidelines and regulatory constraints. Lead investment and risk projects to enhance trading processes and analytics, structuring derivatives-based overlays to mitigate risk and capture market premia. Analyze portfolio risk and performance attribution weekly, producing market commentary for divisional audiences. Coordinate complex portfolio events including new mandate onboarding and restructurings across internal teams and external counterparties. This Associate role within Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management's Multi-Asset Solutions group focuses on the Outsourced CIO channel, offering exposure to fixed income, securitized credit, and private credit within a team managing over $3 trillion in assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-6 years of investment management experience
- Successful track record of teamwork

- Understanding of key portfolio construction concepts, including duration, spread duration, yield curve dynamics, credit quality, liquidity, and risk-adjusted return analysis
- Experience evaluating relative value opportunities across credit sectors and translating market views into portfolio allocation recommendations
- Willingness to help build and enhance portfolio management, trading, and analytics infrastructure within a growing insurance investment platform
