Job Summary
Senior Auditor in Asset & Wealth Management Internal Audit leads engagements across Asset Wealth Management functions, conducts risk assessments, planning, testing, control evaluation, documents work papers, drafts audit reports, and coordinates follow-up and issue closure. Utilizes data-driven methods to streamline work, meet time/budget targets, and deliver high-quality audit outcomes. Collaborates with global Audit colleagues and stakeholders, supports ongoing risk assessment and monitoring, and travels internationally up to 10%. Requires ownership of audits, ability to work remotely within a matrix organization, and strong communication to present issues to senior management. Prefer Chartered Accountant and asset/wealth management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum MBA degree
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a financial services firm/bank, with an audit or risk/control background
- Ability to lead audits and execute audit work remotely, work effectively within a matrix organization, manage multiple projects and participate in audit assignments in a team environment.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, issue/impact analysis and executive report preparation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and works well individually and in teams, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages participation.
