Job Summary
Track, organize, and maintain company assets, including tools, equipment, and materials stored in yards. Conduct regular inventory checks, update asset records, and ensure proper documentation of all items. Perform basic inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs on owned equipment to ensure functionality. Assist in loading, unloading, and staging equipment and materials for projects or deliveries. Follow company safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper handling and storage of equipment. Maintain accurate records of asset movement, maintenance, and usage logs. Coordinate with operations, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure assets are available when needed. Keep the yard clean, organized, and free of hazards. Most work is at the Patillo location, with potential travel to other yards. Ability to work outside normal hours during disaster response is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 23 years of age or older for company vehicle insurance requirements
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Med Card
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed specifically during a disaster response event
- Able to travel as needed to other facilities and or locations
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in asset management, warehouse, or yard operations is a plus
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in the industry
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other yard equipment (certification may be required)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
