Job Summary
Asset Specialist II (Buyer) plans and pipelines inventory for high-complexity technology demand, maintains supplier relationships to optimize inventory turns and profitability, reviews and adjusts forecasts, manages supply and demand to ensure adequate stock, reduces aged inventory (over 180 days), collaborates with sales on quotes, negotiates with customers and suppliers, oversees purchase orders, cancellations, new buys, and forecast actions, and works in a hybrid office/remote schedule in Denver. Requires a 4-year degree and 2-4 years of related experience (or advanced degree/equivalent), strong inventory management and analytical skills, intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and the ability to build professional supplier relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a 4 year degree and 2-4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- Strong Inventory Management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and comfortable in a high-volume environment
- Ability to change gears quickly and to multi-task
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Intermediate Excel skills required, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs
- Ability to build and maintain internal/external professional relationships with suppliers, reps and sales personnel
- Strong Analytical Skills
