Job Summary
Handles delinquent loan accounts and performs comprehensive loan servicing tasks including payment processing, account maintenance, payoff requests, insurance tracking, and documentation updates; conducts collection activities by contacting borrowers, negotiating repayment arrangements, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulations; produces daily/weekly/monthly reports, processes loan closures, and reconciles general ledger items; emphasizes exceptional customer service, confidentiality, and accurate data entry while applying strong organizational and analytical skills to support a fast-paced banking environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior collections and/or loan servicing experience is a plus but not required
- Customer service or sales experience handling direct customer interactions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with standard office software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle high volumes of transactions
