Job Summary
Inspect newly delivered vehicles from vendors/OEMs, checking engine performance, electricals, body condition, tyres, brakes, and suspension to identify defects before acceptance. Validate refurbished and repaired vehicles by confirming assigned repairs are completed, testing rides where necessary, and ensuring replacement parts are functional. Confirm assets are mechanically sound, verify tracker installation and documentation, and sign off on vehicles before deployment. Maintain inspection records, report recurring technical issues, and escalate substandard repair work to Operations. Requires 3+ years hands-on experience with motorcycles/tricycles and strong engine system knowledge. Located in Lagos.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience working on motorcycles/tricycles
- Strong understanding of engine systems and vehicle components
- Ability to test ride and diagnose basic faults
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Must be comfortable working in workshop and field environments
Desired Qualifications
- Former workshop technician or mechanic
- Experience working with fleet operators
