Job Summary

Conduct and supervise the execution of internal investigations and external protection programs, ensuring staff adherence to policies on apprehensions, CCTV usage, and record retention. Lead by example by providing regular feedback to AP colleagues, coaching behaviors, and administering all asset protection policies, standards, and safety criteria. Source, interview, and hire colleagues to build a high-functioning team, ensuring new hires complete training and are transitioned into the culture. Maintain building security by opening and closing the store when appropriate, while scheduling self and staff to support store needs within budgeted hours. Report non-productive detainments immediately to the Regional Director or Central AP partner. Train and coach staff on safety programs, emergency preparedness, and customer/employee accident analysis to ensure a secure environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years direct experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Must satisfy licensing requirements (as required by state or local jurisdiction)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
  • Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong leadership profile
  • Able to use and navigate multiple technological devices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and learn new procedures
