Job Summary
Asset Protection Specialist responsible for contributing to shortage reduction and investigations, conducting store physical security checks, and maintaining the employee entrance where applicable. The role requires collaboration with the General Manager, adherence to Five Below policies and procedures, and providing a visible, courteous presence at the entrance/exit. Duties include safety inspections, communicating hazards to store management, greeting customers, and ensuring store operations meet safety and security standards. Must have strong verbal and written communication, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with flexible hours including nights and weekends. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years or retail Loss Prevention experience
- Basic understanding of retail or security
- Ability to work nights and weekends appropriately to retail business needs
- Must be able to stand / walk sales floor for 8 hours at a time
- Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs
